PELION RESORT is a brand new (2008) 4 star hotel, built at 700m altitude in location “Karavos” on the north east side of the traditional Portaria village. The hotel is built like a «village» according to the traditional local architecture of Pelion mountain area. Due to its privileged position, it allows easy walking access to the village’s centre through picturesque pavements and offers the calm and fascination of Pelion natural environment with rank and mountain spring water, away from the traffic and bluster of the centre, and additionally the magnificent panoramic view of Thessaly Mountains, Makrynitsa village, and the port of Volos.

Accomodation

You can enjoy your stay in 22 double and triple rooms and in 4 apartments – suites, each room having its own private entrance from the garden, view to the Swimming Pool but also to the boundless beauties of Pelion Mountain. Rooms for disabled people are also available. The rooms are connected to the main buildings via pavements through the garden.
Each room offers true serenity being spacious, ambient and carefully decorated in earth tones. The view from Makrynitsa and Volos, till the Thessaly mountains is breathtaking, especially during sunset.
